All of us at Clifford Swan Investment Counselors are delighted to welcome our newest colleague, Carlota Venegas, CFP®, CDFA®. Carly joined the firm on May 1st as an investment counselor, adding experience and resources to our investment counsel team.
As a Certified Financial Planner™, Carly helps clients develop a comprehensive structure for the stewardship of their assets, in addition to managing the investment portfolio at the core of that structure. Additionally, as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® she brings a unique skillset to clients facing the complexities of divorce. She came to Clifford Swan with 10 years of investment management and financial planning experience, including most recently advising clients within a private wealth advisory practice at Ameriprise Financial. During this time, Carly developed a strong appreciation for the role of financial planning and investment management in achieving client objectives.
Born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, Carly graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy of Industrial Societies. Carly enjoys spending time outdoors with her three children. An active member in the community, she is a head coach for the American Youth Soccer Organization and a member of both the Annual Fund Committee and Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at San Rafael Elementary School.
